Subsidence, rewetting and drought damages affect an ever increasing amount of agricultural land in Flevoland. The project Gebiedsproces Bodemdaling Flevoland sees governments, farmers and experts working on a common goal: a future-proof water system and a resilient agricultural sector.
Open cooperation and shared facts are a central point. By combining knowledge with practical experience, we test solutions directly in the field. This provides insight into which water management solutions work. This forms a solid base of knowledge to be used a a foundation for (new) policies. Together we work towards a climate-proof, sustainable and robust Flevoland.
